The logic behind our no-AI pledge
Look, we get it. Everyone is using AI to create content. You can’t scroll two clicks on most social media platforms without someone singing the praises of AI.
We’re not going to join in on that chorus, so if that’s what you’re looking for, we’re not the right fit.
Trusting AI to craft content for your brand is risky. Yes, it produces copy that falls flat with your ideal customer. But that’s the least of your worries.
Some other more serious risks include:
- AI hallucinates. That’s the polite way of saying it gets the facts wrong frequently. Even the AI tools themselves warn users of this issue.
- AI plagiarizes. AI tools pull from their vast databases of existing text or scan the internet for information that matches your prompt. The problem is it sometimes pulls text word-for-word from a source without proper attribution.
- AI is tone-deaf. Your customers should recognize your content simply by its tone and voice. Human copywriters are more skilled at mimicking your style than AI.
